Iranian Master nasta’liq calligrapher and holder of a First Grade Artistic Certificate, equivalent to a Ph.D.
Master Mohammad Salahshoor began studying calligraphy under the supervision of Master Seyyed Hossein Mirkhani in 1950 and went on to benefit from the teachings of Master Ali-Akbar Kaveh and Master Hassan Zarrinkhatt. Since 1954, he has been active in the production of national curricular textbooks and also written more then 30 textbooks for Afghanistan, the complete Divan and Odes of Hafez, an anthology of Hafezs odes for the Iran-Pakistan Friendship Association (ReD, 1971), a collection of Baba-Tahers do-bayti poems, etc., totaling over 15,000 pages. Nezami’s Shahname-ye Panj Ganj and Mozhde-ye Gol are his most important works in the domain of artistic, cultural and literary books. Master Salahshoor has also participated in numerous individual and group exhibitions in Iran and abroad (Kuwait, France...)

خوشنويسي را نزد استاد حسن زرين خط شروع كرد و سپس از محضر استاد سيد حسين ميرخاني و استاد علي اكبر كاوه سود جست. وي كتابت در حدود ده هزار صفحه را نموده است كه از آن جمله ديوانهاي شعر نظير ديوان رباعيات خيام – باباطاهر عريان و حافظ را مي توان نام برد.
