Born in Tehran in 1947
 he received his master degree in directing theater from Islamic AzadUniversity. In 1962 ,he played for the first  time in a play called "Smoke", written by William Faulkner. From 1972, he got acquainted with Puppet Theater when attending Puppet Theater Course, held by Oscar Batek at Dramatic Arts College in Iran. He has served as a teacher at the Cultural Center of Institute to train directors of theaters for children. In 1974, he directed his first puppet theater "Jamshid and the Sun" and in 1977, he directed 19 short plays at Institute with the cooperation of the children members of libraries. He has directed several plays for children and young adults. He has also been the supervisor for publishing several

plays at Tarbiat Publication since 1989.
From 1995, 12 plays for the students studying at different school grades were published under his supervision. He has served as a teacher of theater for children at Faculty of Fine Arts in Tehran University .Theater &Cinema College in Arts University Complex and also Tarbiat Moalem University. At present ,he serves as a responsible consultant at the Artistic Affairs of Martyr's Foundation.
